Meet Muggsy
Miss Murray found an egg in her classroom

We decided to make a nest for it and see what happened.

After a few days, we saw something happening. The egg had started to crack! Something was hatching from within. We didn’t know what it could be.

It was really exciting. Something furry was poking an arm out of the egg. Then after a little while some more of him came out. We still didn’t know what it was but we couldn’t wait to find out what it was.

The thing started to stretch out and we could see it. We all thought that it was great. Miss Murray said that it was a Querk. He was very shy and we all had to be quiet so we didn’t scare him.

We read a story that told us all about Querks. They normally live deep in the forest and not many people know about them. One day some of the Querks went on an adventure to explore the world. They wanted to know what other kinds of animals lived beyond the forest. One of them must have left the egg behind in our classroom. Miss Murray said we could keep our Querk. We named him Muggsy.
So that Muggsy has something to do while we are all working hard in school, Miss Murray thought that he could tell you all what we were doing on our Blog site. Come back soon to see what he is saying.
